``Outstanding game…`` India`s para-badminton coach praises Nitesh`s Gold win in Paralympics 2024
India’s para-badminton coach Gaurav Khanna expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance in Paris Paralympics, noting they surpassed the Tokyo Paralympic medal tally despite high targets. He further praised Nitesh Kumar for his Gold win and an outstanding game, highlighting his achievement of competing on par with athletes with natural legs despite being an amputee.
Speaking to ANI, Gaurav Khanna says, “I am very happy. Our targets were very high though we could not achieve them but we have crossed the Tokyo Paralympic medal tally...It was an outstanding game by Nitesh...Since he is an amputee, playing and balancing with an artificial leg & competing with a player who has natural legs- it is definitely a wonderful job...”
