India ready to host Youth Olympics in 2030, Olympics in 2036: PM Narendra Modi in Goa
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 37th National Games at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao on October 26. While addressing the event, PM Modi said that India India is ready to host Olympics in 2036. He also said that by 2036, India will be one of the major economic powers.
PM Modi said, “I have assured the IOC that India is ready to host Youth Olympics in 2030 and Olympics in 2036... By 2036, India will be one of the major economic powers, and there will be a very big middle class in the country. India's flag would be there from space to sports.”
“National Games are being held at that moment when Indian athletes are scripting new history at the world stage, “he added.
