InCred Alternatives Investments, part of InCred Group, a leading diversified financial services enterprise, today announced the launch of its maiden Category II AIF in the private equity space, called InCred Growth Partners Fund-I (IGPF-I). This is the third alternatives strategy from InCred after the successful launch of its Structured Credit Fund and Liquid Quant Fund strategies over the last two years.

IGPF-I aims to target an AUM of up to INR 500 Cr to invest in high-quality privately-owned companies across the consumer, financial services, technology and enterprise services sectors. The fund will allow HNI, Family Office, as well as institutional investors to access compelling opportunities in private markets.

IGPF-I will invest in a mix of companies at Series B and C stages where growth is likely to drive outcomes, as well as companies with more evolved business models where an increase in business efficiency will drive a multiple expansion. The fund is being led by Vivek Singla who brings over 18 years of investment management experience and has consummated several investments and exits during his long journey in the private markets. Vivek holds a B. Tech from IIT Delhi (2003) and a PGDM from IIM Lucknow (2005). He is also a CFA Charter-holder.

Bhupinder Singh, Founder & Group CEO of InCred, said, “The launch of our private equity strategy helps us complete the bouquet of alternate funds for our HNI, UHNI and institutional investor base. Our best-in-class alternative investment management team will enable us to provide access to unique investment opportunities in the public and the private markets. IGPF-I has been crafted to foster entrepreneurship, generate targeted returns for our investors and bring together the founder and investor communities”.

Vivek Singla, Managing Partner & CIO – Private Equity – InCred Alternative Investments said, "I am excited to be a part of the InCred group, a large diversified financial services firm, and one of the fastest-growing platforms in the alternatives space. I feel it is an opportune time to launch a private equity fund- private market valuations are at realistic levels and there’s been a stark shift in the founders’ mindset from ‘growth at any cost’ to ‘profit after all the costs’. The idea with our maiden private equity fund is to run a concentrated strategy and invest in no more than 7-9 companies where we have high conviction.”

InCred Alternative Investments is part of InCred Capital (InCred Capital Financial Services Pvt Ltd), the institutional, wealth and asset management arm of InCred Group.
