I am a Ram devotee, post of MLA is not important: Rebel SP MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh
Amid speculations of internal rift in the Samajwadi Party, Rakesh Pratap Singh, Rebel SP MLA said that he is a Ram devotee and the post of MLA is not important for him.
He further said, “If raising policies within the party and talking about the interests of workers and getting respect for workers is rebellion, then I am a rebel. I will continue to rebel like this. I had said earlier also that if we have to make Rajya Sabha (MP), if we have to give respect to Legislative Council, then the original workers of the party, who have put in their blood and sweat to establish the party, should be respected. People coming from Delhi, Mumbai, film industry, industrialists should not be given this respect by ignoring the party workers... I am a Ram devotee, the post of MLA is not important for me...”
