HDFC Bank surges as its consolidated net profit rises 6% to Rs 17825 crore for Q2FY25

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1744.00, up by 62.85 points or 3.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 1681.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1720.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1744.50 and Rs. 1710.50 respectively. So far 338933 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1791.90 on 03-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1363.45 on 14-Feb-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1748.20 and Rs. 1654.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1329396.04 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 83.25% and 16.75% stake in the company respectively.

HDFC Bank has reported 5.29% rise in its net profit at Rs 16820.97 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2024 (Q2FY25) as compared to Rs 15976.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 9.05% at Rs 85499.64 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 78406.23 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the Bank has reported 6.03% rise in net profit at Rs 17825.91 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 16811.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 12.91% at Rs 121456.74 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 107566.62 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
