HDFC Bank moves up as its average deposits surge 15% in September 2025 quarter

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 970.70, up by 5.95 points or 0.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 964.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 973.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 975.50 and Rs. 962.15 respectively. So far 116159 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1018.15 on 30-Jul-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 806.70 on 07-Oct-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 975.50 and Rs. 939.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1490278.76 crore.
The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 84.79% and 15.21% stake respectively in the company.
HDFC Bank’s average deposits were Rs 27,105 billion for the September 2025 quarter, a growth of around 15.1% over Rs 23,540 billion for the September 2024 quarter, and around 2.0% over Rs 26,576 billion for the June 2025 quarter.
Its average advances under management (advances grossing up for inter-bank participation certificates, bills rediscounted and securitisation / assignment) were Rs 27,946 billion for the September 2025 quarter, a growth of around 9.0% over Rs 25,639 billion for the September 2024 quarter, and a growth of around 1.9% over Rs 27,423 billion for the June 2025 quarter. The Bank’s average CASA deposits were Rs 8,770 billion for the September 2025 quarter, a growth of around 8.5% over Rs 8,084 billion for the September 2024 quarter, and around 1.9% compared to Rs 8,604 billion for the June 2025 quarter.
