HDFC Asset Management Company gains on reporting 20% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

HDFC Asset Management Company is currently trading at Rs. 2750.30, up by 3.10 points or 0.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 2747.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2760.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2776.80 and Rs. 2727.60 respectively. So far 20774 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2798.45 on 11-Oct-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1595.25 on 20-Mar-2023.

HDFC Asset Management Company has reported 20.17% rise in its net profit at Rs 437.56 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2023 (Q2FY24) as compared to Rs 364.13 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 17.82% at Rs 765.22 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 648.93 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 19.97% rise in its net profit at Rs 436.52 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 363.85 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 17.94% at Rs 765.35 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 648.93 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
