HCL Technologies surges on reporting 10% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

HCL Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 1255.50, up by 31.45 points or 2.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 1224.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1213.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1266.00 and Rs. 1210.00 respectively. So far 109864 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1311.00 on 18-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 969.40 on 13-Oct-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1274.45 and Rs. 1210.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 340456.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.81%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.33% and 4.85% respectively.

HCL Technologies has reported 8.21% rise in its net profit at Rs 2,966 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 2,741 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 6.06% at Rs 12,311 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 11,608 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 9.92% rise in its net profit at Rs 3,833 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 3,487 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.49% at Rs 27,037 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 24,922 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
