Gravita India zooms on reporting 29% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Gravita India is currently trading at Rs. 1460.65, up by 129.15 points or 9.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 1331.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1358.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1467.15 and Rs. 1335.00 respectively. So far 11144 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1630.00 on 21-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 610.05 on 24-Jul-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1467.15 and Rs. 1307.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9905.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.01% and 20.62% respectively.

The company has reported 7.49% fall in its net profit at Rs 35.82 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 38.72 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 13.18% at Rs 758.78 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 670.43 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 29.40% rise in net profit at Rs 68.00 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 52.55 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 25.87% at Rs 914.73 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 726.74 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
