Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant honors freedom fighters on 63rd Liberation Anniversary

On the 63rd anniversary of Goa's liberation, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant honored the state's freedom fighters. He remembered the 74 martyrs who fought for Goa's independence and awarded 15 of their family members with a cheque of Rs 10 lakh and a Certificate of Honor each. Sawant also highlighted the state's unprecedented development over the past decade.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, "... Today, on this occasion, we remembered the 74 martyrs, out of which, the first generation of 15 martyrs have been given a cheque of Rs 10 lakh and a Certificate of Honor each. The development of Goa in these 10 years has been unprecedented..."
