Genus Power Infrastructures inches up on incorporating wholly-owned step-down subsidiary

Genus Power Infrastructures is currently trading at Rs. 239.80, up by 0.55 points or 0.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 239.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 242.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 242.95 and Rs. 237.80 respectively. So far 3137 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 290.00 on 05-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 78.10 on 26-Dec-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 263.85 and Rs. 236.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6187.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.30%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.93% and 41.77% respectively.

Genus Power Infrastructures has incorporated a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, namely ‘Kanpur Jhansi Banda Smart Metering’ on November 10, 2023. It is incorporated as special purpose vehicle (SPV) for execution of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP) Contract. 

Genus Power Infrastructures (GPIL) is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of electronic energy meters, power distribution management projects, hybrid microcircuits, inverters, batteries, home UPS and online UPS in India and abroad.
