FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13368.15 crore against gross selling of Rs 16162.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2794.09 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3649.11 crore with gross sales of Rs 2366.39 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1282.72 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 154.79 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 616.83 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 511.10 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 38.91 crore against gross selling of Rs 12.87 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 26.04 crore in hybrid segment.
