FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 23 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16350.73 crore against gross selling of Rs 20178.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3827.33 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2931.45 crore with gross sales of Rs 3334.39 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 402.94 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 334.21 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1689.02 crore and net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1757.75 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 28.18 crore against gross selling of Rs 5.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 22.49 crore in hybrid segment.
