FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 15 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11908.81 crore against gross selling of Rs 12485.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 576.82 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3096.45 crore with gross sales of Rs 2207.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 889.36 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 14.46 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 294.07 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1168.97 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3.78 crore against gross selling of Rs 13.16 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9.38 crore in hybrid segment.
