FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per July 06 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14171.00 crore against gross selling of Rs 11894.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2276.32 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2028.28 crore with gross sales of Rs 1623.52 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 404.76 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 442.30 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 468.20 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 430.66 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 35.28 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.82 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 18.46 crore in hybrid segment.
