FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per June 19 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13328.70 crore against gross selling of Rs 15135.29 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1806.59 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2133.81 crore with gross sales of Rs 1886.21 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 247.60 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 263.38 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 187.54 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 203.32 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 25.23 crore against gross selling of Rs 20.71 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4.52 crore in hybrid segment.
