FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per June 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10314.98 crore against gross selling of Rs 12962.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2647.46 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4629.49 crore with gross sales of Rs 4515.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 113.64 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 278.39 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 581.73 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 746.48 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 31.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 6.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 24.57 crore in hybrid segment.
