FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 29 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14905.02 crore against gross selling of Rs 15452.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 547.83 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3318.01 crore with gross sales of Rs 1236.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2081.12 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 78.38 crore against gross selling of Rs 30.73 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 47.65 crore in hybrid segment.
