FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 22 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17462.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 17893.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 430.70 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 854.81 crore with gross sales of Rs 452.14 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 402.67 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 37.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 13.83 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 24.13 crore in hybrid segment.
