FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 16 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15308.80 crore against gross selling of Rs 17686.42 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2377.62 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 885.35 crore with gross sales of Rs 397.08 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 488.27 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 216.16 crore against gross selling of Rs 139.75 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 76.41 crore in hybrid segment.
