FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 23 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 60832.45 crore against gross selling of Rs 45651.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 15181.36 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3330.92 crore with gross sales of Rs 844.1 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2486.82 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 502.41 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 121.56 crore and net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1862.85 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 171.17 crore against gross selling of Rs 173.86 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2.69 crore in hybrid segment.
