FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18788.78 crore against gross selling of Rs 18378.25 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 410.53 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2050.95 crore with gross sales of Rs 983.73 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1067.22 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 172.93 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 31.42 crore and net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1208.73 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 41.78 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.87 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 30.91crore in hybrid segment.
