FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15282.16 crore against gross selling of Rs 14399.95 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 882.21 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3120.06 crore with gross sales of Rs 1786.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1333.86 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 357.07 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 422.45 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1399.24 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 90.38 crore against gross selling of Rs 47.49 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 42.89 crore in hybrid segment.
