FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15952.89 crore against gross selling of Rs 13800.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2152.33 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4337.27 crore with gross sales of Rs 2101.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2235.77 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1656.99 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 31.99 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 546.79 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13.72 crore against gross selling of Rs 26.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 12.46 crore in hybrid segment.
