FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 13 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13617.83 crore against gross selling of Rs 10874.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2743.33 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2568.56 crore with gross sales of Rs 1763.47 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 805.09 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 79.16 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 128.17 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 854.10 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6.44 crore against gross selling of Rs 5.39 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.05 crore in hybrid segment.
