FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per March 25 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18530.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 12324.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 6205.50 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3357.32 crore with gross sales of Rs 2026.23 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1331.09 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 134.32 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 83.18 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1279.95 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 42.22 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 20.25 crore in hybrid segment.
