Coal India gains on inking MoU with Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation

Coal India is currently trading at Rs. 376.00, up by 1.65 points or 0.44% from its previous closing of Rs. 374.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 379.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 379.75 and Rs. 374.50 respectively. So far 12754 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 544.70 on 26-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 349.20 on 17-Feb-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 388.95 and Rs. 374.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 230701.73 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.92% and 5.94% respectively.
Coal India (CIL) and Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation have executed a Non-Binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 23, 2025 at Katni, Madhya Pradesh to cooperate and collaborate in the field of Exploration & Exploitation of Critical Minerals and other minerals of mutual interest in Madhya Pradesh.
