FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 28 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16864.93 crore against gross selling of Rs 12070.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4794.61 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1719.23 crore with gross sales of Rs 1012.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 706.24 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 45.79 crore against gross selling of Rs 24.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 21.79 crore in hybrid segment.
