Farmers given training for Organic Farming in J&K`s Ramban
A team of experts from the Agriculture Department visited Tatarsu village in Ramban district to promote 'Organic Farming.' The team was led by Agriculture Extension Officer (AEO) Jagdish Bali, assisted by Assistant Agriculture Officer Arun Kumar, and supervised by Chief Agriculture Officer Ram Gopal Sharma, under the aegis of District Development Commissioner Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary. A one-day training session was conducted for farmers of the newly formed Organic Cluster named Golden Organic Farm. Farmers were educated about the use of organic manure, line-sowing techniques, and other modern farming methods. AEO Jagdish Bali mentioned the government's aim to transform Tatarsu village into a completely organic farming village within the next three years.
