Families of missing people meet Bangladesh’s new Chief Adviser, Muhammad Yunus, demand justice
Dozens of relatives of disappeared people gathered outside the office of Bangladesh’s new Chief Adviser, Muhammad Yunus seeking justice. Muhammad Yunus also met with the relatives of the victims and listened to their grievances. Yunus promised the families of action to find out what had happened to the disappeared people, mostly Hasina's opponents, and justice.
Bangladesh's Nobel Peace Prize winning economist, Muhammad Yunus sworn in as the head of the country's caretaker government last week, days after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina tendered her resignation and fled the country after violent protests.
