Dr. Reddy`s Laboratories surges as its arm incorporates wholly-owned subsidiary in Jamaica

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories is currently trading at Rs. 5614.85, up by 189.30 points or 3.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 5425.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5430.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5629.55 and Rs. 5430.05 respectively. So far 9388 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5986.20 on 24-Aug-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4176.85 on 25-Jan-2023.

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories’ wholly-owned subsidiary (WOS) -- Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories SA, in Switzerland, has incorporated a WOS in Jamaica, named ‘Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Jamaica’. Accordingly, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Jamaica is a step-down wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.

The Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Jamaica will be engaged in importation, warehousing, distribution and exportation of pharmaceuticals. The business of the proposed Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Jamaica is not outside the main line of business of the Company.

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories is a multinational pharmaceutical company based in Hyderabad, Telangana in India. It manufactures and markets a wide range of pharmaceuticals in India and overseas.
