Doda`s DEO Harvinder Singh briefs on upcoming JKUT Assembly Election 2024
District Election Officer (DEO) of Doda, IAS Harvinder Singh briefed on the upcoming JKUT Assembly Election 2024. Assembly poll in J&K will be held in three phases, with voting on Sep 18, Sep 25, and Oct 1; counting of votes on October 4.
District Election Officer of Doda, Harvinder Singh said, " In the 3 constituencies of Doda district, election will take place in the first phase. Notification of this will be on August 20th. Last date for filing nomination will be 27th August. Last date for withdrawal of candidature will be 30th August. Polling will be on September 18 and the counting will be done on October 04. Model code of conduct was enforced yesterday (16th August) when the date was announced. We have kept training and interactive sessions with Political parties."
