Cyient declines on reporting 17% falls in consolidated Q3 net profit

Cyient is currently trading at Rs. 1395.60, down by 357.20 points or 20.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 1752.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1621.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1621.00 and Rs. 1390.00 respectively. So far 461322 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2265.95 on 08-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1,373.70 on 24-Jan-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1807.90 and Rs. 1373.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15566.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 23.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.55% and 18.31% respectively.

Cyient has reported 48.11% decline in its net profit at Rs 71.30 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3FY25) as compared to Rs 137.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company declined by 8.69% at Rs 589.30 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 645.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 16.64% decline in its net profit at Rs 127.70 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, as compared to Rs 153.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 3.78% at Rs 1909.80 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 1840.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
