Coal India surges on inking MoU with AM Green Ammonia (India)

Coal India is currently trading at Rs. 389.50, up by 5.70 points or 1.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 383.80 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 390.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 394.95 and Rs. 387.70 respectively. So far 350863 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 544.70 on 26-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 349.20 on 17-Feb-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 394.95 and Rs. 370.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 240746.98 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.19% and 5.68% respectively.
Coal India (CIL) and AM Green Ammonia (India) (AM Green) have executed a nonbinding memorandum of understanding (MoU) on May 07, 2025 at Kolkata with an intent of supplying renewable power to AM Green’s green ammonia project in Kandla or any other facility from 4.5 GW Renewable Energy Project/s of CIL.
