Central Bank of India gains on reporting 36% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 38.25, up by 0.12 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 38.13 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 38.52 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 38.73 and Rs. 37.96 respectively. So far 305932 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 67.05 on 29-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 32.81 on 09-May-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 39.39 and Rs. 37.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 34666.87 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.27%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.06% and 3.66% respectively.
Central Bank of India has reported 32.81% rise in its net profit at Rs 1168.69 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1FY26) as compared to Rs 879.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the bank increased by 9.20% at Rs 10374.12 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 9499.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the bank has reported 36.03% rise in net profit at Rs 1281.98 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 942.42 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 9.20% at Rs 10410.11 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 9533.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
