Boxer Vijender Singh calls CAS`s verdict on Vinesh Phogat`s application``sad and unfortunate``

Boxer Vijender Singh on August 14 reacted to dismissal of Vinesh Phogat’s medal application by CAS and called it ‘unfortunate’ and said that not happy with the news. He further assured his support to the Olympic wrestler and said that India could’ve won Gold if she competed in finals.  
Speaking to ANI, Boxer Vijender Singh said, “This is a very sad and unfortunate thing for us...We could have won gold in the Olympics if she had made it through the finals. We are standing with Vinesh and will always support her...This is a sad news and I am not happy with this news...”
