Bank of Maharashtra shines on reporting 14% rise in total deposits during Q3FY25

Bank of Maharashtra is currently trading at Rs. 55.10, up by 2.33 points or 4.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 52.77 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 55.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 56.09 and Rs. 54.50 respectively. So far 2531946 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 73.50 on 03-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 45.20 on 10-Jan-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 56.09 and Rs. 50.83 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 42403.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 86.46%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.73% and 7.81% respectively.

Bank of Maharashtra’s total deposits stood at Rs 2,79,018 crore (provisional) as of December 31, 2024 (Q3FY25), posting a 13.54% rise in year-on-year (YoY) terms as against Rs 2,45,734 crore as of December 31, 2023 and on quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, term deposits stood at Rs 2,76,289 crore as of September 30, 2024.

Its gross advances stood at Rs 2,28,652 crore (provisional) as of Q3FY25, posting a 21.19% rise in YoY terms against Rs 1,88,670 crore as of Q3FY24 and in QoQ basis stood at Rs 2,17,504 crore as of September 30, 2024. CASA deposits grew 11.50% to Rs 1,37,504 crore (provisional) as of Q3FY25, as compared to Rs 1,23,322 crore on a yearly basis. On a quarterly basis, the CASA deposits stood at Rs 1,36,174 crore as of September 30, 2024. CASA stood at 49.28% (provisional) as of Q3FY25 against 50.19% as of Q3FY24.
