MARKET REVIEW

* Equity benchmarks powered higher on Friday, with the Nifty vaulting past the 26,300 mark after scaling a fresh record high.

* Auto and metal stocks led the rally, while FMCG and IT shares lagged, capping gains at the index level.

* The S&P BSE Sensex advanced 573.41 points or 0.67% to 85,762.01. The Nifty 50 index climbed 182 points or 0.70% to 26,328.55.

 

NIFTY FUT CHART

NIFTY FUT TECHNICAL OUTLOOK

* Nifty is expected to open on a gap up note and likely to witness positive move during the day.

* On technical grounds, Nifty has an immediate Resistance at 26570. If Nifty closes above that, further upside can be expected towards 26690-26740 mark.

* On the flip side 26350-26240 will act as strong support levels.

* Bank Nifty is expected to open on a gap up note and likely to witness positive move during the day.

* Bank Nifty’s next immediate resistance is around 60670 levels on the upside and on a decisive close above expect a rise to 60930-61100.

* There is an immediate support at 60100-59800 levels.
