Bajaj Finserv gains despite its arm reports marginal fall in gross direct premium underwritten in December
Bajaj Finserv is currently trading at Rs. 1693.60, up by 9.00 points or 0.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 1684.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1681.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1706.00 and Rs. 1669.10 respectively. So far 18872 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2029.00 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1419.00 on 04-Jun-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1732.55 and Rs. 1576.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 270211.11 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.64%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.37% and 22.99% respectively.
Bajaj Finserv’s unlisted insurance subsidiary -- Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company has reported gross direct premium underwritten of Rs 1,330.9 crore in the month of December 2024 as compared to Rs 1,364.67 crore in November 2024, i.e. down by 2.47% Month-on- Month basis. Besides, gross direct premium underwritten up-to-the month of December 2024 stood at Rs 17,112.4 crore.
Meanwhile, its unlisted insurance subsidiary -- Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company has reported Individual non-single premium of Rs 648.28 crore in the month of December 2024. The company has reported Individual single premium and Group single premium of Rs 39.21 crore and Rs 311.97 crore respectively during December 2024.
