Bajaj Finance trades higher on reporting 21% growth in deposits during Q2FY25
Bajaj Finance is currently trading at Rs. 7264.75, up by 55.10 points or 0.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 7209.65 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 7200.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 7297.00 and Rs. 7200.05 respectively. So far 7909 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 8190.00 on 06-Oct-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6190.00 on 06-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 7823.85 and Rs. 7156.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 449980.11 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.40% and 9.91% respectively.
Bajaj Finance’s deposits book stood at around Rs 66,100 crore as of September 30, 2024 (Q2FY25) as compared to Rs 54,821 crore as of September 30, 2023, a growth of 21%. Its Customer franchise as of September 30, 2024 stood at 92.09 million as compared to 76.56 million as of September 30, 2023. In Q2FY25, the customer franchise increased by 3.98 million.
Its new loans booked grew by 14% to 9.69 million in Q2FY25 as compared to 8.53 million in Q2FY24. Assets under management (AUM) grew by 29% to around Rs 373,900 crore as of September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 290,264 crore as of September 30, 2023. AUM in Q2FY25 grew by around Rs 19,700 crore. Net liquidity surplus stood at around Rs 20,100 crore as of September 30, 2024.
