Bajaj Auto gains on reporting 11% rise in July sales
Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 9710.65, up by 47.30 points or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 9663.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 9770.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9827.65 and Rs. 9695.75 respectively. So far 1905 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10037.30 on 18-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4544.00 on 14-Aug-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 9827.65 and Rs. 9267.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 269781.17 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.01% and 21.93% respectively.
Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 11% in total sales to 3,54,169 units in July 2024 as against 3,19,747 in the same month last year. Total domestic (2-WH + CV) sales increased by 18% to 2,10,997 units in July 2024 as compared to 1,79,263 units in July 2023. Total exports (2-WH + CV) increased by 2% to 1,43,172 units in July 2024 as compared to 1,40,484 units in July 2023.
Total domestic two-wheeler sales were up by 19% at 1,68,847 units in July 2024 as compared to 1,41,990 units in the year-ago month. Total domestic Commercial Vehicles sales stood at 42,150 units in July 2024 as against 37,273 units in July 2023, registering a rise of 13%.
