Avenue Supermarts shines on reporting 19% rise in standalone revenue in Q2FY24

Avenue Supermarts is currently trading at Rs. 3855.50, up by 133.00 points or 3.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 3722.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3751.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3864.90 and Rs. 3751.30 respectively. So far 6682 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4601.90 on 04-Oct-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3292.65 on 16-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3864.90 and Rs. 3617.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 247278.57 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.65%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.87% and 9.48% respectively.

Avenue Supermarts (DMart) has reported an 18.51% increase in its standalone revenue from operations at Rs 12,307.72 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal (Q2FY24). The company had registered a revenue from operations of Rs 10,384.66 crore in the July-September quarter a year ago. The total number of DMart stores as of September 30, 2023 stood at 336. In the July-September quarter of FY22, Avenue Supermarts' standalone revenue stood at Rs 7,649.64 crore. 

Avenue Supermarts is a Mumbai-based company, which owns and operates DMart stores. D-Mart is an emerging national supermarket chain that offers customers a range of home and personal products under one roof.
