Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma pledges to plant 3 crore saplings under 'Amrit Brikshya Andolan'
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on August 1, planted saplings under the ‘'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign as part of 'Amrit Brikshya Andolan', in Guwahati on August 1. While addressing the media, he informed that 3 3 crore saplings will be planted from August 1 to August 20. "We've started Amrit Brikshya Andolan in the state and under this, 3 crore saplings will be planted from August 1 to August 20," said Himanta Biswa Sarma
