Ashoka Buildcon surges on bagging additional scope of work worth Rs 447.21 crore
Ashoka Buildcon is currently trading at Rs 167.50, up by 6.05 points or 3.75% from its previous closing of Rs 161.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 165.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs 170.90 and Rs 163.80 respectively. So far 458702 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 319.00 on 31-Dec-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 158.05 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 178.50 and Rs 159.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 4713.34 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.51% and 24.01% respectively.
Ashoka Buildcon has secured additional scope of work in respect of the existing project viz. ‘Construction of Flyover Arm-1 Arm-2 at T Junction on Sion Panvel Highway Maharashtra Nagar in M/E Ward’. The company has received the letter from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for the same. The cost of additional scope of work is Rs 447.21 crore (including taxes).
Earlier, on October 11, 2024, the company had emerged as Lowest Bidder (L-1) for Construction of Flyover Arm-1 Arm-2 at T Junction on Sion Panvel Highway Maharashtra Nagar in M/E Ward. In this regard, on October 15, 2024, the company had received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from BMC. The accepted Bid Price for the Project was Rs 1,126.58 crore (including taxes).
With current additional scope of work, the aggregate cost of the project increased to Rs 1,573.79 crore (including taxes). The time period to complete the existing work and additional scope of work is revised to January 13, 2028.
