Borosil Renewables gains on receiving capital incentive worth Rs 7.77 crore from Government of Gujarat

Borosil Renewables is currently trading at Rs. 472.00, up by 8.35 points or 1.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 463.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 487.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 488.00 and Rs. 460.00 respectively. So far 26842 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 644.00 on 18-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 403.10 on 25-Oct-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 515.00 and Rs. 441.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6284.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.59%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.37% and 32.04% respectively.

Borosil Renewables has received Rs 7.77 crore from the Gujarat State Electronics Mission (GSEM), Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat, towards capital incentive, under the Electronics Policy (2016-21) for providing special incentive package to attract investment in the electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM) sector. 

The company has received the above incentive in relation to capital expenditure incurred for commissioning its third solar glass furnace (SG-3) at Bharuch plant.

Borosil Renewables is engaged in the production of low iron textured solar glass used in the manufacturing of solar photovoltaic modules in the power sector.
