ZEEL jumps as LIC buys additional two lakh equity shares
Zee Entertainment Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 241.90, up by 3.90 points or 1.64% from its previous closing of Rs. 238.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 238.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 243.25 and Rs. 238.50 respectively. So far 844071 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 378.60 on 15-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 166.80 on 23-Aug-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 259.30 and Rs. 237.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 23210.95 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 3.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 72.20% and 23.81% respectively.
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has bought additional two lakh equity shares in the Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) via open market transactions on June 6. With this, LIC’s stake in the company stands increased to 5 per cent, up from 4.98 per cent earlier.
