Fitelo, a leading weight management app, which received its pre-series A round of $1.5M in May this year, is now looking at aggressive expansion. It is planning to increase its current team strength from 350 employees to 600 employees. It will be hiring 250 new employees by the end of 2022.

By helping people reach their fitness goals in an efficient,  and holistic manner, the healthcare start-up boasts of 81000+ registered customers across 160 countries.

Fitelo was founded by childhood friends, Sahil Bansal and Mehakdeep Singh (Mac), in April 2019. Fitelo is a group of dietitians, doctors, nutritionists, mind coach and fitness trainers. They ensure that your body's overall nutrition is maintained as you lose weight and transition to a healthier lifestyle. They do not incorporate or recommend any supplements or medications into their diets. Upon understanding one’s medical condition (if any), they recommend natural foods in the diet plans that can help with the condition while limiting things that are not good for the condition.

Fitelo is  looking at hiring across different verticals, such as nutritionists/dietitians, R&D, Sales, fitness and mind coach.

The Chandigarh-based start-up comes with an app that is aimed at helping its clients develop healthy habits.  Customers are assigned a personal health coach who is linked to their needs, and it works on a subscription-based approach.
