The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 24.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 6.12 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 295.42 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 38.18 per cent at Rs 265.56 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 192.19 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 37.92 per cent to Rs 230.28 crore from Rs 166.97 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 34.26 per cent at Rs 1.45 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 1.08 crore). Operating Profit surged by 39.89 per cent to Rs 35.28 crore as against Rs 25.22 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 1.30 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 63.44 per cent y-o-y to Rs 13.01 crore, while Taxation decreased by 236.19 per cent at Rs -5.87 crore (Mar'21 Rs 4.31 crore).
