FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 18 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6301.04 crore against gross selling of Rs 7963.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1662.42 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 242.74 crore against gross selling of Rs 154.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 87.86 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4.47 crore against gross selling of Rs 7.98 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3.51 crore in hybrid segment.
