The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 27.86 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 25.54 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 9.08 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 29.25 per cent at Rs 1,101.33 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 852.07 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 31.52 per cent to Rs 1,029.14 crore from Rs 782.48 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 429.92 per cent at Rs 6.73 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 1.27 crore). Operating Profit surged by 3.74 per cent to Rs 72.19 crore as against Rs 69.59 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 19.83 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 33.64 per cent y-o-y to Rs 17.68 crore, while Taxation increased by 11.79 per cent at Rs 9.29 crore (Mar'21 Rs 8.31 crore).
